Terms and Conditions

Welcome to www.marinetrade.co.uk – known as “this website” for these terms and conditions. The website is offered upon your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions set forth below. If you do not accept the Terms and Conditions, you are not authorised to use this website.

Pricing

1. All prices are subject to change without notice.
2. All prices are quoted in Sterling – Inc and Ex-VAT
3. Carriage charges are added to your order retrospectively where applicable.
4. Stock quantities shown online are our current physical stock. Contact us if greater than stock quantities are required.
5. Quotation Pricing is limited for a 30-day period from date of issue
6. Marinus Artis reserve the right to adjust pricing to take account of any increase in the cost of raw materials, labour at services or any currency fluctuations affecting the cost of imported materials.

Payment

1. Cash payments must be cleared prior to dispatch
2. If the Customer fails to pay for the Goods, Marinus Artis may suspend further deliveries on the same order and on any other order from the customer without prejudice.
3. “Special Order” or NON-stocked items may require payment upfront and in most cases these items cannot be returned.
4. Credit accounts will be given on a case-by-case basis. Marine trade has the final say.
5. A signed "account application form" agreeing to our terms and conditions must be completed prior to a credit account being setup
6. Credit balances must be cleared before receiving new orders.
7. Payment terms for credit accounts are 30 days end of month. Payment for the trading month must be made by the 6th of the following month.
8. The Company reserves the right to charge interest at two per centum per month on all overdue accounts, such interest being deemed to accrue on a day-to-day basis from the date of invoice.
9. Marinus Artis may vary, suspend or withdraw credit facilities at any time at its discretion, and withhold all further supplies if the Customer exceeds any credit limit agreed.        

Risk

1. Risk in the Goods shall pass to the Buyer when the Goods are delivered to, or collected by, the Buyer or its agent.

Trade Customers (Registration)

1. To “register” as a trade customer on www.marinetrade.co.uk you must be a genuine marine trade business.
2. All applications will be vetted resulting in approval or denial. Marine trade has the final say
3. Accounts can be closed if the terms and conditions herewith are not adhered too.

Retention (Credit Accounts)

1. Property in the goods shall not pass from the Seller until the buyer has paid the invoice price plus VAT in full; and
2. Marinus Artis shall be entitled to recover the Price (Plus VAT) for any property that has not passed to the buyer (Unpaid goods)
3. The Buyer shall insure and keep insured the Goods to the full Price against ‘all risks’ to the reasonable satisfaction of the Seller until the date that property in the Goods passes from the Seller to the buyer.
4. Whenever requested by the Seller the buyer shall produce a copy of the policy of insurance. Without prejudice to the other rights of the Seller, if the Buyer fails to do so all sums whatever owing by the Buyer to the Seller shall forthwith become due and payable.

Warranty

1. The Company warrants that it has title to and the unencumbered right to sell the Goods.
2. Manufacture warranty periods are honoured

Catalogues / Documents

1. Marinus Artis takes every precaution in the preparation of its catalogues, technical circulars, price lists and its other literature, these documents are for general guidance only and the particulars contained therein shall not constitute representations by the Company and the Company shall not be bound thereby.
